How Your Session Works

1. Skin consultation (10 mins) — Your artist assesses your skin type, tone and any concerns — oiliness, dark circles, blemishes or uneven texture. We discuss the look you want — most grooms prefer a completely natural finish, but some want slightly more definition for photographs. We work to your brief.
2. Skin prep (10 mins) — Skin is cleansed, moisturised and primed. A lightweight, non-greasy primer is used to control shine and create a smooth base. This step is critical for grooms — oily skin under hot lights and outdoor conditions needs a solid prep to stay matte and fresh all day.
3. Base application (10 mins) — A light HD tinted moisturiser or sheer foundation is applied and blended for a completely natural, skin-like finish. Concealer is applied under the eyes and on any blemishes. The goal is to look like you — just better rested and more even-toned.
4. Contouring & definition (5–10 mins) — A very light contour is applied to define the cheekbones and jawline for the camera. This is subtle — visible in photographs but completely undetectable in person. Brows are groomed and lightly defined to frame the face.
5. Setting & finishing (5 mins) — A long-lasting, sweat-resistant setting spray locks the look in place. Your artist does a final check to ensure everything looks completely natural before you step out.
