How Your Couple Experience Works

1. Joint consultation (1–2 weeks before) — Both bride and groom meet with the H2 team for a joint consultation. We discuss the wedding theme, outfit colours, jewellery, venue and the overall aesthetic you want to achieve as a couple. We look at reference images and build a coordinated vision for both looks — ensuring they complement each other perfectly in photographs.
2. Bridal trial (1–2 weeks before) — The bride’s full look is trialled and finalised — makeup, hair and lashes. Adjustments are made based on feedback. The groom’s look is also discussed and a skin prep routine is recommended for the weeks leading up to the wedding.
3. Wedding day — Groom first (45–60 mins) — On the wedding day, the groom’s artist begins first. Skin is prepped and the natural groom look is applied — tinted moisturiser, concealer, light contour, brow grooming and setting spray. The groom is done and ready well before the bride, giving him time to dress and prepare.
4. Wedding day — Bride (3–4 hours) — The bridal artist works simultaneously or immediately after, recreating the finalised trial look with precision. Makeup, hair styling, lashes, jewellery pinning and finishing are all completed methodically and on schedule.
5. Final couple review — Before the first ceremony, both artists do a final review of both looks together — ensuring the bride and groom look coordinated, polished and camera-ready as a couple.
6. Touch-up kit handover — The bride receives her personalised touch-up kit for the reception. The groom’s artist provides a small touch-up kit with blotting sheets and setting spray for the day.
